Brand system, public site, professional profiles, blog, wireframes, and application flows take shape.
Preserved project history
The LOOKlauncher case study
A beauty platform imagined across marketing, editorial, professional profiles, and a mobile client-management product.

A creative outlet for Looks
The project began with one organizing idea: beauty professionals needed a place to document work, build a visible portfolio, and connect that work back to clients.
Embrace. Promote. Launch.
Those three verbs became the public website's narrative, the campaign copy, and the product model. Clients would discover styles and professionals. Artists would capture, organize, and publish their work.
The live website made the promise carefully. It marketed an app that was “Coming Soon” while the local archive developed the mechanics behind it.

From client record to public Look
The app concept joined contact management, photography, notes, appointment history, tagging, search, and social publishing in one beauty-specific workflow.

The large production flow connects stylist onboarding, client records, Look capture, search, profiles, and appointment features. It is evidence of planned product scope, not proof of a released application.
The interface took shape
Successive wireframes moved from a gray mobile kit into a black-and-white visual system centered on photography and the LOOKlauncher wordmark.

One identity across every surface
The restrained black-and-white wordmark moved across the website, application, print, social campaigns, business cards, and professional profiles. Magenta stayed the website's primary accent.

What shipped and what remained planned
The archive is most useful when it keeps the public result separate from the product ambition.
Publicly shipped
- Marketing homepage with coming-soon signup messaging
- Professional network with hair and makeup directories
- Individual profiles with biographies and Look galleries
- BEAUTYblog with 21 published posts
- Brand channels and campaign collateral
Planned or prototyped
- Mobile application for stylists and clients
- Client relationship tools with contacts and history
- Photo capture tied to client records
- Search and discovery by Look, tag, and location
- Social publishing and targeted advertising
The final production artifact
The surviving website is the most complete public release. The application screens, wireframes, and strategy documents record the larger product vision around it.
A short chronology
BEAUTYblog continues publishing. The final public post appears in August.
The homepage receives its last recorded content modification.
The live site and 6,442-file local archive are reconciled into this preservation project.
